1. Acceptance Of These Terms
By using this website, submitting a form, communicating with Blackwood Concierge
Concierge, or requesting any service, you agree to these Terms and
Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit
a request.
2. About Our Services
Blackwood Concierge provides bespoke travel planning, accommodation
coordination, lifestyle concierge support, and access to selected
experiences. Services may be delivered directly by us or coordinated
through third-party hotels, villas, transport providers, restaurants,
venues, travel partners, and experience providers.
3. Enquiries And Booking Requests
A website form submission is an enquiry only. It does not create a confirmed
booking, reservation, contract for travel, or obligation for us to provide
a service. A booking is confirmed only when we or the relevant provider
confirm availability and any required payment, deposit, approval, or written
confirmation has been completed.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, And Booking Changes
If you need to cancel a confirmed service, refund eligibility depends on
how much notice is given before the scheduled service begins. Cancellations
made at least three days before the service may receive a full refund, less
any non-refundable deposit or confirmed third-party charge. Cancellations
made between 24 and 72 hours before the service may receive a 50% refund of
the total service cost. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the
service, including no-shows, are not refundable.
Minor date or time adjustments requested at least 48 hours in advance may
be made without an amendment fee, subject to availability and provider
approval. Material changes, including a different service type, a larger
guest list, or a broader service scope, may require revised pricing,
additional fees, or a new booking confirmation.
If Blackwood Concierge is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to
circumstances outside our reasonable control, provider unavailability, or
another operational issue, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
Where no suitable alternative arrangement is accepted, we will issue a full
refund of the amount paid to us for the affected service.
Where your booking includes third-party providers, such as hotels, flights,
villas, restaurants, venues, transport providers, or experience partners,
their cancellation terms and charges will also apply. Refunds approved by
Blackwood Concierge are processed within seven business days using the
original payment method where possible. Any refund dispute should first be
raised with us so we can review the issue in line with these Terms.
5. Information You Provide
You agree that information you provide is accurate, current, complete, and
not misleading. You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, destinations,
traveller details, passport requirements, visa requirements, health
requirements, budgets, preferences, and all booking details before
confirmation.
6. Prices, Availability, And Changes
Prices, rates, availability, taxes, fees, exchange rates, itineraries, and
provider terms may change until a booking is confirmed. Quotes are subject
to availability and may depend on season, destination, provider rules,
service scope, and third-party costs.
7. Payments
Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of
the total quoted service cost is required to secure a booking. The remaining
balance, payment deadline, and any instalment arrangement will be communicated
before confirmation. Depending on the service or provider, full payment may
be required before the service date.
You are responsible for any bank charges, payment processing fees, currency
conversion costs, taxes, provider fees, or third-party charges connected to
your booking. A booking is not treated as confirmed until the required
deposit, balance, or other agreed payment has been received and accepted.
8. Third-Party Providers
Many services are supplied by independent third parties. We are not
responsible for acts, omissions, cancellations, delays, restrictions,
failures, safety issues, service changes, or terms imposed by third-party
providers, except where responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Travel Documents And Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all travellers have valid passports,
visas, entry permissions, health documentation, insurance, and any other
documents required for travel or participation in an experience. We may
provide general coordination support, but final responsibility remains with
the client and each traveller.
10. Conduct And Safety
You agree to comply with applicable laws, provider rules, venue policies,
safety instructions, and reasonable conduct standards. Providers may refuse
service or remove a guest where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive,
disruptive, or in breach of their rules.

not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or
loss-of-profit damages arising from website use, service requests, third-party
provider actions, travel disruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable
control.
15. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our
reasonable control, including severe weather, strikes, supplier failure,
government action, travel restrictions, security incidents, health events,
natural disasters, technical failures, or transport disruption.
16. Updates To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be
posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of
the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,
unless another mandatory law applies. Any dispute will first be approached
through good-faith communication before either party pursues available legal
remedies.
